CD does not play automatically because Autoplay is disabled
Cause:
Autoplay does not work because it is disabled.
Solution:
Enable Autoplay.
1) Double-click the 'My Computer' icon.
2) From the menu, select 'View', 'Options', 'File Types'.
3) Select 'Audio CD' and click 'Edit'.
4) Click 'Set Default'. This is a toggle. When clicked it will bold or unbold the word 'Play'. When 'Play' is bold, then 'AutoPlay' is enabled. When 'Play' is not bold, 'Autoplay' is disabled.
5) Change 'Play' to bold and click 'OK'.
